Manama: Organisers of the Spring of Culture 2016 announced the launch of tickets for shows organised by the Economic Development Board (EDB). The tickets launched today, Wednesday February 17th at 12pm, and can be purchased at the festival’s official kiosk located near gate 1 at the Bahrain City Centre or online at www.springofculture.org.
Tickets for the events “Seal”, “Hotel Paradiso”, “Rodrigo Y Gabriela”, “Flown” and “Chaos in the Town” will be available to the public on Wednesday, 24th February 2016.
The Spring of Culture festival is amongst the most important art events in Bahrain, with a number of exciting performances by prominent international and local artists. The events of the 11th edition of the festival will begin in February, and continue through to April 2016.
The 2016 edition of the Spring of Culture Festival is organised by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) in collaboration with the Economic Development Board (EDB), Shaikh Ebrahim Centre for Culture and Research, Al Bareh Art Gallery, Al Riwaq Art Space and La Fontaine Centre of Contemporary Art.
The Spring of Culture Gold sponsors for this year are National Bank of Bahrain (NBB), Huawei and Bahrain Airport Company. Silver sponsors are ALBA, Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait (BBK), Bahrain Duty Free and Bahrain Airport Services (BAS). The event is also supported by BMMI.
