Labour Ministry yesterday signed two agreements with two training institutes to train and rehabilitate 200 graduate job seekers to include them in the private sector enterprises.
The deal was signed by Ministry of Labour Undersecretary Sabah Al Dossary with B-Tech Institute for Computer Education and Berlitz Institute.
As per the deal, B-Tech Institute will train 100 graduates in the Basics of Computer Applications
Programmes, while the Berlitz Institute will train 100 university graduates in the Business English Programmes. Duration of the training programmes extend from one month to eight months, during which the trainees will receive a monthly grant of BD200.
Commenting on the deal, Mr Al Dossari said that the Labour Ministry is keen to select training programmes that meet the needs of the labour market.
